My project theme for this evidence project is Autumn.
I think most people would not look at their calendrer to check what day is the starting day of autumn. So, how do people know that if autumn has come? There are some evidences and signs for its arrival.
I think the autumn scenery is unique. Compared with other seasons, autumn is the most colorful season. I shot a lot of colorful trees and leaves to contrast and highlight the evidence. It's not easy to choose autumn as theme for this project, because it's hard for me to show evidence of autumn from different points of view. Besides leaves and trees, what else can I shoot about autumn？ When I went to the grocery store and saw pumpkins, I realized that Halloween is coming soon. It also means that autumn is coming to an end. The reason for choosing autumn as the theme is that autumn is my favorite season since I came to Boulder. I miss the time when I bought a sandwich and sat on the school’s lawn in an invigorating autumn climate to enjoy the scenery. Because of the pandemic, I don't have many chances to go farther places to feel the beauty of nature in autumn as usual. When I realized that autumn came, more than half of autumn season had already passed quietly. So, I want to explore the traces of autumn and record them as evidence permanently.
